The Next Step Doctoral Scholarship is a one-time $1000 non-competitive scholarship available for new fully admitted doctoral students. Funding for this scholarship is limited. Please complete the application form at the bottom of this page.

In order to be awarded the Next Step Doctoral Scholarship, you must:
You will be notified if you are awarded a Next Step Senior Scholarship and your account will be credited the appropriate amount. If you are receiving financial aid during the Spring 2025, Summer 2025, or Fall 2025 semester, there may be a need to adjust your total financial aid package. If I withdraw from classes or drop below the scholarship-required minimum graduate semester hours of coursework at Texas A&M University-Commerce on or before the twelfth class day of the Spring 2025 or Fall 2025 semester, or the fourth class day of the Summer 2025 semester, I will forfeit this scholarship.
