Quick Start Grant Application

  • The Quick Start Grant is a renewable $250 or $500 grant for A&M-Commerce graduate students employed by school districts, community colleges, or Texas cities or counties. 

    Funding for the grant is limited.  Complete the application form at the bottom of the page. 

    To qualify for the Quick Start grant you must:

    • Complete and submit the Quick Start Grant application form.
    • Be a graduate student at A&M-Commerce.
    • Apply and gain full, conditional, or nondegree admission to a masters, specialist, doctoral, graduate certificate, educator certification, or professional certification program at A&M-Commerce through ApplyTexas.
    • Enroll in a minimum of three graduate semester credit hours for a $250 award or a minimum of six graduate semester credit hours for a $500 award.

      All above requirements must be met by the first class day of the semester to be eligible.

      Funds cannot be awarded in combination with any other Graduate Funding Initiative (TRIO, Stop-out, Next Step).

      You will be notified if you are awarded the Quick Start Grant and your student account will be credited the appropriate amount based on your enrollment.

      If you are receiving financial aid, there may be a need to adjust your total financial aid package.  Contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (903-886-5096) or FAO.Web@tamuc.edu if you have questions about your financial aid package.
