I understand that to retain my employee scholarship for the above selected term, I must complete all referenced courses for which employee scholarship funds were applied. In addition, I understand that I must complete such courses satisfactorily with at least a grade of āCā or better.
I agree that the Employee Scholarship provided for the above selected term will become a loan if I do not meet the requirements stated above and this loan will be due without grace, on or before the last date of the above selected term - payable at the Financial Services Office, Texas A&M University-Commerce, 2600 S Neal St, Commerce, TX 75428. In the event that I cannot meet the course completion or grade requirements and my employee scholarship is revoked, I promise to repay Texas A&M-Commerce the full amount of my employee scholarship for that semester.
If this note is not paid at or before maturity, it will be subject to referral for collection and will be reported to national credit bureaus as delinquent. If this loan is not paid by the due date and is placed with an outside collection agency, additional late charges and collection fees on the principal shall be added for collection as allowed by statute.
In case of non-payment, the University has the right to hold all transcripts, diplomas, future registration and other benefits until full payment is made. A late fee of $25 will be assessed if this loan is not paid in full on or before the due date.
Please be aware that the employee scholarship cannot be used to cover course charges associated with any academic program that is offered through Academic Partnerships programs including Doctor of Education. BAAS-ORGL and BSCJ-CJCB students are limited to a maximum scholarship of $300 in each 7 week course module.
